Many people were equipped with gas masks, shields, and helmets. There was at least one leaf blower. Between the constant and determined chants you could hear the squeaks of hundreds of squeezable, plastic pigs.

The first LRAD warning came at 8:10pm. The gates to the facility were slightly open and there was little to no police presence for the next few hours while protesters held their ground halfway up the driveway.

The door on the right side of the gate that was used the night before to rush the group, surround them, and make arrests was barricaded with scooters and wooden pallets.

At 9:20pm, an LRAD announcement warned against shining lasers at federal officers. Local news later reported that a man was arrested by the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) for allegedly doing so.

Federal officers were fully staged in front of the gate by 9:53pm, but didn’t advance until just before 11:00pm. After fireworks were thrown, cops responded with tear gas, pepper balls, and flash bangs. The dispersal lasted 10 minutes.
