Within an hour of the fence coming down, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) cops moved out to disperse the group from Lownsdale Square, pushing them down SW Salmon St.
At 5th Ave, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) took over and pushed the crowd aggressively down SW Salmon for 10 blocks, stopping when they hit SW 14th Ave at 2:00am.
This occured on the first night of major riots in Portland, Oregon following the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
